love chocolate.
I avoid most commercial candy bars due to artificial flavors or soy lecithin in the ingredients. I found that if I mix cocoa powder with coconut oil, vanilla, salt & sugar I can produce a chocolate bar that is both tasty and healthy!  So I thought.........hey!  Why not try adding Shakeology in place of the cocoa powder and make it that much more healthy?!  Guess what guys?!  ... IT WORKED! :-D

Shakeology "Candy"-bars!

Ingredients
  • 2/3 cup Chocolate Shakeology (1 1/2 scoops!) or cocoa powder
  • 2/3 cup coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup + 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • nuts for topping(optional)
Heat coconut oil in a small saucepan over low heat. Once it melts add the remaining ingredients.(except for Shakeology if you are using it!  Shakeology can lose some of it's qualities if heated so we don't want to do that!  Instead, heat all other ingredients in saucepan, once melted take it off the burner and let it cool! THEN add your Shakeology!!)  I actually put mine in the blender so that the Shakeology mixed in well, worked like a charm!  You end up with a brownie like batter!  Stir and pour mix over a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Place cookie sheet in refrigerator for 2-4 hours, or until it is set. Once the chocolate hardens, cut/break it up into pieces. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. ENJOY!!!
